May 22, 2013 The Consulate General of the Netherlands in Osaka will hold seminars in Fukuoka and Nagoya in June to introduce about urban planning and smart cities in Holland. The seminar will also cover about ‘smart agriculture’ and ‘smart mobility,’ looking into ways to integrate agriculture and transportation into urban planning. Professionals on urban planning will be invited from Holland as speakers of the seminar.
May 16, 2013 On 14 and 15 May, ambassadors and diplomats of the European Union and its member states in Japan took part in the EU comes to your School programme. The EU delegation to Japan organizes this programme every year since 2007 around 9 May, Europe Day, aiming to reach out to young Japanese and discuss the European Union. The Dutch Embassy also participated. On May 14, Ambassador Radinck J. van Vollenhoven visited Hashimoto High School in Kanagawa Prefecture and Embassy Secretary Rogier Hekking visited Maebashi Minami High School in Gunma Prefecture.
