On 30 May, CGE Risk Management Solutions from the Netherlands and DNV from Norway organized a seminar on risk assessment and incident analysis at the Embassy.

From 28 till 30 May 2012, CGE Risk Management Solutions from the Netherlands and DNV from Norway organized a 2-Day BowTieXP Master Class followed by a BSCAT workshop and HSE Seminar. The workshop and seminar were held in the Deshima Lounge at the Netherlands Embassy in Tokyo.

During the 2-Day BowTieXP Master Class, DNV and CGE Risk gave master class to some 30 participants to tell more about the BowTie method and provide the participants with hands-on experience with the supporting BowTieXP software. The master class was combined with a workshop on BSCAT, the Barrier-Based Incident Analysis software to gain more knowledge about the integration of incident analysis with risk assessment. The subsequent Health, Safety and Environment Seminar organised by DNV focused on subjects like current HSE trends and introduced a world leading system to assess, improve and demonstrate the health of an organisation’s business processes: ISRS.

The Embassy provided support to CGE Risk Management Solutions through a Market Scan in 2009. This enabled CGE Risk Management Solutions (then still called Governors) to get an overview of the market and develop a comprehensive market access strategy for Japan.
